Thoma Bravo completed its acquisition of Nearmap Ltd in an all-cash scheme of arrangement valued at approximately AUD 1.055 billion. Nearmap, an Australian location-intelligence and aerial imagery provider, will be taken private to accelerate global growth—particularly in North America—leveraging Thoma Bravo's sector expertise, operating capabilities and capital support.

An affiliate of Executive Information Systems (EIS), a portfolio company of CCP Capital Strategies, has acquired Zencos Consulting LLC. The founders, David Septoff and Benjamin Zenick, retain an equity stake and will continue to lead the business; the acquisition expands EIS' SAS-based analytics, cloud modernization, and managed analytics capabilities.

TechInsights Inc. acquired IC Knowledge LLC, a specialist in semiconductor cost modeling and market analysis, to expand its platform of semiconductor market analysis content. Founder Scotten Jones joins TechInsights' team to integrate IC Knowledge's cost-modeling products and databases with TechInsights' existing research offerings.

Kester Capital has invested in DC Byte to support a management buy-out, acquiring a stake in the subscription-based market intelligence and analytics provider for the global data centre sector. Kester will partner with management to expand products and markets and accelerate DC Byte’s international growth amid strong demand for data centre capacity and related analytics.

Perwyn, the European private equity investor, has agreed to acquire VIXIO Regulatory Intelligence from Kester Capital. Perwyn will back VIXIO's management team to expand its regulatory intelligence products, deepen market coverage in payments and gambling, broaden geographic penetration and develop adjacent product offerings.

Cognizant has agreed to acquire AustinCSI, a Dallas-based digital transformation consultancy specializing in enterprise cloud and data analytics advisory services. The acquisition—expected to close in Q4 2022—adds more than 175 consultants to Cognizant's consulting capabilities and strengthens its enterprise cloud, AI and data analytics advisory offerings for Fortune 500 clients across telecommunications, media, technology and automotive sectors.

Escalent has acquired Rhein Associates and entered a partnership with Work Truck Solutions to create a unified commercial vehicle and fleet research and advisory practice. The deal combines Rhein Associates' North American commercial vehicle forecasting data with Escalent's demand-side Fleet Advisory Hub and Work Truck Solutions' commercial vehicle inventory dataset to deliver a 360-degree data and advisory offering for OEMs, fleets and dealers.

Beringer Capital made a significant growth investment in VeraData, a Fort Myers–based decision science and fundraising acceleration platform serving not-for-profit organizations. The capital will be used to invest in talent, capabilities, and technology to scale VeraData’s predictive modelling, machine learning platform, and fundraising analytics offerings.

International Data Corporation (IDC) has acquired ETBS, an Australia-based IT benchmarking and assessment firm that provides extensive price, service, and cost data across more than 45 countries. The acquisition adds ETBS's market pricing model and benchmarking dataset to IDC's IT metrics and sourcing advisory capabilities to broaden IDC's benchmarking, pricing, and advisory offerings.

Holland Mountain has acquired PE Stack, a Private Capital technology and market-intelligence consulting business, and will integrate PE Stack’s proprietary vendor database and West Coast team into its service offerings. The deal expands Holland Mountain’s Private Capital data and technology capabilities and broadens its footprint in North America to better serve fund managers and limited partners.

NTT DATA has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Aspirent, a data, analytics, and advisory firm headquartered in Atlanta, from majority owner Summit Park. The acquisition adds more than 230 data advisors and technologists to NTT DATA, bolstering its analytics, data engineering and advisory capabilities across partners such as Azure, AWS, Databricks and Snowflake.

Toluna has acquired Further (formerly Dub) and will integrate Further’s qualitative research technology into the Toluna Start platform to launch Toluna Start Qual. The acquisition expands Toluna’s end-to-end consumer intelligence capabilities by combining real-time quantitative research with best-in-class qualitative tools and services.

Creditntell, an information services and data analytics firm backed by Endicott Capital, has acquired MTN Retail Advisors, a provider of store-level grocery sales estimates and grocery retail research. The deal expands Creditntell's capabilities by adding MTN's boots-on-the-ground grocery data and advisory services to its retail intelligence offerings.

Reorg, a Permira‑backed provider of financial and legal intelligence, agreed to acquire FinDox, a document, compliance and data management platform for private credit and leveraged finance. The deal—expected to close in December 2022—adds FinDox's document aggregation, compliance (including ESMA Article 7 reporting) and analytics capabilities to Reorg's data and workflow offerings.

Providence Equity Partners has agreed to acquire A2MAC1, the global leader in automotive benchmarking and analytics. Five Arrows Principal Investments and Keensight Capital, current shareholders, will sell their stakes with Five Arrows reinvesting as joint-lead alongside Providence to support the company's next growth phase and expansion of its benchmarking platform.

Codestone, an FPE Capital-backed SAP/Microsoft/CCH Tagetik services leader, has acquired UK business intelligence and analytics provider DSCallards as a bolt-on to expand its BI, analytics and data transformation capabilities. The deal strengthens Codestone's cloud transformation and ERP/EPM service offering and follows a prior acquisition of Clarivos earlier in the year, accelerating the group's capability expansion and customer-base growth.

FoodChain ID, a Berkshire Partners portfolio company, has acquired Lexagri International, a France-based AgTech data provider that harmonizes and distributes global agricultural and crop protection data. The acquisition expands FoodChain ID's regulatory, compliance and crop protection data capabilities and strengthens its farm-to-fork data offerings for food, chemical and agricultural customers.

ResourceWise has acquired UK-based Prima Markets, a research and price-benchmarking provider for low-carbon fuels and energy value chains, effective November 7, 2022. Prima Markets will operate as part of ResourceWise (now known as Prima Markets from ResourceWise) with founder Matthew Stone joining as Managing Director; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands ResourceWise's data and analytics coverage into renewable fuels, feedstocks and the low-carbon fuels value chain.

Revuze, an Israel-based provider of AI-powered real-time consumer insights, received a $12 million growth equity investment led by PSG. The round — which also includes industry veterans Karyn Schoenbart and Tod Johnson — will fund Revuze's U.S. geographic expansion, technology scaling, and product innovation.

MiQ, the programmatic media partner, has acquired UK-based AirGrid, a privacy-first, edge-powered audience platform that enables cookieless audience creation and activation for publishers and marketers. The acquisition adds machine-learning driven, publisher-focused identity and activation capabilities to MiQ's cookieless product suite and follows MiQ's recent PE investment from Bridgepoint.

Anonos has acquired Berlin-based Statice GmbH, a synthetic data software provider, integrating Statice's technology into the Anonos Data Embassy platform to expand privacy-preserving data capabilities. Statice's 23 employees and co-founders join Anonos leadership, and Anonos becomes the 100% stockholder (PwC is no longer a stockholder); terms were not disclosed.

Infogrid, a London-based building intelligence SaaS provider, has acquired Aquicore, a Washington, D.C.-based ESG data and analytics platform for commercial real estate. The deal brings Aquicore's ~60-person team and ESG reporting capabilities into Infogrid to combine AI-powered building intelligence with best-in-class ESG reporting and carbon management.

Climate First Bancorp (via its OneEthos digital-banking initiative) acquired the climate and social-justice fintech platform developed by startup Ecountabl. The acquisition, which closed Oct. 31, 2022, will integrate Ecountabl's ESG indexing and analytics into OneEthos to strengthen Climate First Bank's sustainable digital-banking capabilities.

MediQuant, a provider of enterprise data archive technology for healthcare, has completed the acquisition of Knowledge Based Systems, Inc. (KBS), a Dulles Technology Corridor–based company and creator of the KB_SQL product. The tuck-in purchase expands MediQuant's data management capabilities and opens additional channels and markets for its DataArk platform and related offerings.

Superstep Capital, a private equity firm, announced a strategic growth investment in One Six Solutions to accelerate the Chicago-based data and cloud transformation firm's next stage of growth. The capital will support One Six's continued hiring of data engineers, analysts, and developers and help scale its cloud, data, and application modernization capabilities.

MRI Software has acquired Johannesburg-based TPN Group, a specialist tenant- and property-focused credit bureau, to deepen tenant insights and risk mitigation capabilities for commercial and residential real estate clients in South Africa. The acquisition strengthens MRI’s local presence and complements its property management and accounting software with TPN’s tenant data, verification services and market reporting tools.

RFI Global has acquired MacroMonitor, a Princeton, New Jersey–based specialist provider of financial-services data and insights, to accelerate RFI's North American expansion. The deal, supported by RFI's investment partner Diversis Capital, will combine MacroMonitor's granular US dataset with RFI Global's international data and product capabilities to expand offerings for financial-services clients across North America.

CoStar Group acquired Fairmas Benchmarking, a German hospitality benchmarking product, from Fairmas GmbH on October 10, 2022, expanding STR’s benchmarking coverage in Germany. The acquisition adds roughly 1,400 hotels to STR Germany’s dataset and strengthens CoStar/STR’s hotel benchmarking and analytics capabilities for German hotel brands, operators and owners.

Renovus Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Premier International Enterprises, LLC, a Chicago-based technology consulting firm specializing in data migration and data governance. Renovus will support Premier’s product development, scale delivery capabilities, and pursue strategic add-on acquisitions to expand the company’s services and market reach.

Dodge Construction Network, backed by affiliates of Clearlake Capital Group and Symphony Technology Group, has acquired Principia Consulting, a building materials-focused data, research and consulting firm. The deal expands Dodge's Advisory Services capabilities by adding Principia's market intelligence and research products to accelerate capability development and client offerings.

Gradient AI, a provider of AI-driven insurance underwriting software, has acquired the underwriting analytics business unit from Prognos Health. The deal integrates Prognos' lab and medical data into Gradient AI's SAIL medical underwriting platform to expand capabilities for group health risk assessment and underwriting accuracy.

Alpine Investors has launched a new data software platform, predictis, and announced a private partnership with Ethisphere to bring Ethisphere into the predictis portfolio; terms were not disclosed. The move positions Ethisphere — a provider of ESG/GRC data, benchmarking and ethics-focused software and services — as an add-on to predictis as Alpine invests to grow the platform's data and governance capabilities.

FINSIGHT Group Inc. has acquired Docoh, an equity capital markets research platform, from Eighty-Five Technologies. The acquisition will expand FINSIGHT's institutional market data and research offerings by integrating Docoh's historical filings, transcripts and alert capabilities into its capital markets product suite.

Lumivero, a new data-insights software platform backed by TA Associates, brings together QSR International, Palisade and Addinsoft to create a combined analytics and collaboration offering. As part of the transaction Thompson Street Capital Partners sold Palisade to Lumivero (retaining a minority stake); the combined business will consolidate qualitative and quantitative analytics tools to accelerate product development and global growth.

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has acquired AGDATA, a Charlotte-based provider of data and workflow solutions for the agribusiness and animal health sectors, from Vista Equity Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed; AGDATA's CEO Heffy Provost will remain in place as LLCP positions the company as a platform investment to expand its tech-enabled data and analytics capabilities serving agriculture and animal health customers.

CorsairM360 has acquired Houston-based Material Intellect in a stock transfer that makes Material Intellect a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal expands CorsairM360's MaestroM360 API management platform with Material Intellect's AI-driven data aggregation and advanced analytics capabilities, broadening the combined firm's ability to deliver AI-enabled data solutions to customers across chemicals, pharmaceuticals, insurance and related industries.

FiscalNote (NYSE: NOTE) acquired the core operating assets and book of business of DT-Global Business Consulting, a Vienna-based subscription market intelligence firm focused on Central & Eastern Europe, the CIS, and MEA. The deal expands FiscalNote’s geopolitical and market intelligence capabilities—strengthening its FrontierView and Oxford Analytica offerings—and adds a blue-chip client base and recurring subscription revenue in the CEE region.

Q2 Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: QTWO) acquired Sensibill, a Toronto-based AI-powered customer data platform, in a transaction that closed October 3, 2022. The acquisition is intended to bolster Q2's data and machine-learning capabilities by adding Sensibill's SKU-level spend data and expense-management tools to Q2's digital banking and commercial banking suites.

Delphia, a membership-based investment collective, acquired data-rights company Fathom Privacy in a deal that closed in October 2022. Delphia will integrate Fathom's privacy and data-portability technology to give members greater control over their personal application data and strengthen Delphia's data-driven investment capabilities.

March Networks acquired the FOCUS Business Analytics Platform from DoIT Software Sp.z.o.o (Gliwice, Poland) on October 1, 2022, integrating the cloud-based analytics platform into its Searchlight product to accelerate its transition to cloud video and advanced data analytics. The deal brings the majority of DoIT Software staff into a newly established March Networks Poland development center focused on data analytics and AI, and March Networks plans to launch the integrated cloud Searchlight platform in Q1 2023.

Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) and Endicott Capital have made a strategic investment to acquire majority ownership of New York–based ad intelligence SaaS provider MediaRadar, with TSCP serving as the control investor. Frontier Growth sold majority ownership and will remain a minority shareholder; terms were not disclosed. The investors plan to support MediaRadar's continued growth and product/capability expansion.

Fluree, a Winston-Salem-based developer of a distributed ledger graph database, has merged with New Jersey-based ZettaLabs to combine capabilities for legacy data migration and modern data-centric architectures. The deal integrates ZettaLabs' AI/ML-powered ZettaSense (rebranded Fluree Sense) into Fluree's platform, expands product offerings for enterprise customers (including financial services), and places ZettaLabs co-founder Eliud Polanco as Fluree president.

ACA Group has acquired Ethos ESG, a provider of ESG ratings data and analytics for financial advisors, asset managers and institutional investors. The acquisition is ACA's first analytics offering and will be integrated into its ESG Advisory practice to provide data-driven analysis, impact ratings and automated ESG reporting; financial terms were not disclosed.

Altair has signed and completed a definitive agreement to acquire RapidMiner, a provider of low-code data analytics and machine learning software. The acquisition expands Altair's end-to-end data analytics and machine learning capabilities, integrating RapidMiner's desktop and cloud platforms into Altair's analytics portfolio to better serve industries such as manufacturing and financial services.

Chicago-based data and analytics consultancy Analytics8 acquired Denver-based Mashey, a boutique data analytics consultancy, to expand its capabilities in modern data technologies. The acquisition, finalized Sept. 16, 2022, brings Mashey’s team and expertise in tools like Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran and Looker into Analytics8 to accelerate capability expansion and client service offerings.

The Sanborn Map Company has acquired Applied Geographics, Inc. (AppGeo), combining Sanborn's mapping, imagery and lidar capabilities with AppGeo's GIS, location-intelligence and application development services. AppGeo will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under the AppGeo brand to expand Sanborn's geospatial solutions for government and commercial clients; terms were not disclosed.

Fitch Group has agreed to acquire a majority stake in dv01, a New York–based data and analytics provider for the structured finance market. dv01 will operate as a subsidiary of Fitch Solutions and the deal is intended to strengthen Fitch's data, analytics and loan-level transparency capabilities across structured finance asset classes.

dClimate, a decentralized climate information ecosystem, has acquired Oasis Hub, a global data platform and aggregator for catastrophe, extreme weather, climate change and environmental risk data. The acquisition brings thousands of Oasis Hub datasets, tools and a 1,500+ member global data community onto dClimate's decentralized marketplace to expand its climate-data offerings and capabilities.

Argus Media has acquired Pipe Logix, a US-based provider of pipe and tube market information and price assessments for OCTG and line pipe markets. The acquisition expands Argus's metals coverage and analytics capability, enabling broader product development and service extension into the steel and pipe markets; terms were not disclosed.

Converge Technology Solutions Corp. has acquired Toronto-based Newcomp Analytics to expand its advanced analytics capabilities across North America. The acquisition adds Newcomp’s AI, data engineering, BI and managed analytics offerings to Converge’s portfolio and strengthens its analytics footprint in Canada and the broader North American market.
