Sovos Acquires Blue dot to Expand AI-Native VAT Recovery and Tax Compliance Intelligence

Sovos, an AI-ready tax compliance company, announced it has acquired Blue dot, an AI VAT intelligence and recovery platform headquartered in Tel Aviv. The deal extends Sovos’ indirect tax suite into travel & expense and VAT recovery while adding Blue dot’s production AI, transaction intelligence, and data science talent to accelerate Sovos’ agentic diagnosis roadmap.
