Edgewater Growth Capital’s newly formed portfolio company RCM Holdings, LLC has acquired MedData, a national provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management services, from MEDNAX, Inc. The deal creates a PE-backed RCM platform aimed at consolidating niche revenue cycle management capabilities and expanding geographic presence and service offerings to hospitals, health systems and physician groups.
