Revo Brands Acquires Outdoor Edge Cutlery Corporation

Revo Brands, the parent company of Real Avid and a platform backed by Clearview Capital Fund IV, acquired Outdoor Edge Cutlery Corporation in an add‑on transaction that closed November 4, 2021. Outdoor Edge, a maker of premium knives and hand tools founded by David Bloch in 1988, will remain under the Revo/Vertikal Brands platform with Mr. Bloch continuing to play a key role; terms were not disclosed.

The deal will be funded with cash on hand, is expected to close in summer 2017, and AOBC will transition the Bubba Blade business to its Columbia, Missouri facility to integrate into its accessories segment.
