The deal includes Scruggs’ regional flow control products and repair/maintenance services supporting municipal water and wastewater systems across the Southern and Midwestern United States. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the existing leadership team is expected to remain in place under Sterling’s ownership.

Northstar Recycling Company, LLC has acquired Waste Technology Services, LLC, combining two asset-light providers of managed waste, byproduct management and environmental consulting to strengthen technical capabilities and expand sustainability-oriented services. WTS, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Lewiston, New York, will join Northstar's platform (PE-backed after a 2021 recapitalization led by Ridgemont Equity Partners) to deliver broader recycling, reuse and reclamation solutions across specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, high-technology and industrial end markets.
