RPM International Inc. completed its previously announced acquisition of Star Brands Group, the UK-based parent of household cleaning brand The Pink Stuff, for its Rust-Oleum subsidiary. The Pink Stuff is now part of Rust-Oleum’s cleaners business within RPM’s Consumer Group.

FleetPride Acquires RPM Truck Repair

The deal expands FleetPride’s service footprint and capabilities in central and southern Illinois, integrating RPM’s technicians and locations into FleetPride’s national parts and service network.

The deal strengthens RPM’s global building envelope portfolio and expands its market presence in Europe and beyond; financial terms were not disclosed.

RPM International Acquires TMP Convert SAS (TMPC)

RPM International Inc. acquired TMP Convert SAS (TMPC), a France-based manufacturer of outdoor decking and landscaping products, to integrate into its Fibergrate Structures business within the Performance Coatings Group. TMPC, known for the JOUPLAST and OCAPE brands and based in Simandre-sur-Suran, France, has annual net sales of approximately €35 million; terms were not disclosed and Thierry Convert will remain president.

Henkel Acquires Seal for Life Industries from Arsenal Capital Partners

Henkel has signed an agreement to acquire US-based Seal for Life Industries LLC from private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners. Seal for Life is a global supplier of protective coating and sealing solutions with ~€250m of sales in 2023 and more than 650 employees; the acquisition strengthens Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business and expands its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions and protective-coatings capabilities.

Recochem Acquires Paint Over Rust Products (POR-15)

Recochem, an H.I.G. Capital portfolio company, has acquired Paint Over Rust Products (POR), the maker of the POR-15 metal restoration and rust-preventative product line. The acquisition expands Recochem's U.S. branded car care portfolio and will leverage Recochem's digital marketing capabilities and broad distribution footprint to grow POR across North America; H.I.G. Capital backed the transaction.
