Montagu Private Equity entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Tyber Medical and combine it with its portfolio companies Intech and Resolve Surgical Technologies to create a next-generation orthopedic medical device solutions provider. The closed transaction (announced as closing on 8 April 2025) is designed to deliver integrated, proprietary, market-cleared technologies and development/manufacturing scale for OEM customers across spine, trauma, extremities, and related markets.

RTI Surgical Acquires Collagen Solutions

RTI Surgical, a Montagu-backed CDMO, has agreed to acquire Collagen Solutions, a global supplier of engineered medical-grade collagen and xenograft tissue, expanding RTI's soft-tissue biomaterials capabilities. The acquisition broadens RTI's access to high-growth therapeutic areas including cardiac, sports medicine and orthopedics, and plastic and reconstructive surgery; Collagen Solutions is headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota with additional sites in the U.K. and New Zealand.

Medical Manufacturing Technologies Acquires R&D Engineering from Biomerics

R&D Engineering will continue to operate in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and the acquisition strengthens MMT's end-to-end medical device manufacturing solutions; Cowen served as financial advisor to MMT.

RTI Surgical Acquires Optecure Bone Graft Product from Exactech
