ARCHIMED Acquires and Merges Symbio and Proinnovera to Form Symbio Proinnovera

Global private equity healthcare specialist ARCHIMED acquired US-based Symbio and Germany-based Proinnovera in an all-equity deal and simultaneously merged them. The resulting Symbio Proinnovera is a dermatology-focused contract research organization (CRO) offering outsourced dermatological therapy formulation and clinical trial testing across the full development lifecycle.

Boston Scientific Acquires Devoro Medical

Boston Scientific agreed to acquire the remaining 84% of Devoro Medical, developer of the WOLF Thrombectomy Platform, paying approximately $269 million upfront plus up to $67 million in milestone payments. Boston Scientific had been a strategic investor in Devoro since 2019 (holding ~16%); the acquisition expands Boston Scientific’s clot-management and peripheral interventions product portfolio by adding a non-console, lytic-free thrombectomy technology.

Danaher Acquires Aldevron for $9.6 Billion

Danaher Corporation entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aldevron from EQT Private Equity for an enterprise value of approximately USD 9.6 billion. Aldevron, headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota with ~600 employees and additional operations in Madison, Wisconsin, will operate as a standalone company within Danaher's Life Sciences segment to expand Danaher's capabilities in genomic medicine and biologics manufacturing.

JBS S.A. Acquires Vivera Foodgroup for €341 million

JBS S.A. has agreed to acquire Vivera Foodgroup, one of Europe’s largest plant-based protein producers, for an enterprise value of €341 million. The deal includes Vivera’s three manufacturing sites and R&D center in the Netherlands and will position JBS to expand its global plant-based product platform while keeping Vivera as a standalone unit under its current management.
