Scholastic to Acquire Cottage Door Press for About $71 Million

Scholastic has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cottage Door Press, an independent early childhood and novelty children's publisher, for approximately $71 million, subject to customary purchase price adjustments. The Luna StoryTime interactive electronic toy business will be separated prior to closing and is not included in the acquisition.
