Kian Capital-backed SPATCO Energy Solutions completed the acquisition of MSCS Ltd., a Dallas-based petroleum services company, expanding SPATCO's footprint into Texas and adding operations in Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston. The transaction is an add-on to the SPATCO platform (its fifth acquisition since Kian's 2020 investment) and supports the platform's geographic expansion and service capability growth in petroleum and EV infrastructure services.

(a Nasdaq-listed SPAC) signed a binding letter of intent to acquire 100% of Force Pressure Control, LLC, a Texas-based provider of pressure-control rental tools and services for frac and flowback operations. Pelican Energy Partners agreed to purchase the Surface Pressure Control Flow (SPC Flow) business unit from Baker Hughes in a carve-out transaction, closing on October 31, 2020. The standalone company, renamed Vault Pressure Control, will focus on wellhead pressure control products, rental frac/flowback equipment and related services across the US, Canada, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Trinidad & Tobago.
