CVC announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Smiths Detection, a global threat-detection and security-screening technology company, from Smiths Group plc for £2bn. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the second half of 2026.

SitelogIQ Acquires Path Company

SitelogIQ, a national energy services and facility improvement solutions provider, acquired Path Company, a NAESCO-accredited energy services firm serving municipal, K-12 and higher education customers in the Southeastern United States. The add-on acquisition (financial terms undisclosed) expands SitelogIQ’s geographic footprint into six additional southeastern states and broadens its service capabilities in lighting, HVAC, water efficiency and renewable power.

Sherlock Biosciences Acquires Sense Biodetection
