Stantec has signed an agreement to acquire Morrison Hershfield, a 1,150-person engineering and management firm headquartered in Markham, Ontario. The deal, structured as a court-approved plan of arrangement and subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, expands Stantec's presence and capabilities across Canadian markets and strengthens its buildings, transportation, and environmental services offerings.
