Superior Rigging & Erecting Co., an Atlanta-based crane, rigging and steel-erection firm, has acquired Heaton Erecting, Inc., a long-established Atlanta-area crane rental, rigging and transportation company. Heaton will continue to operate under its name with Patrick Lewis (Superior's CEO) leading the combined business, which aims to expand service capabilities (steel fabrication, millwrighting, storage) for customers in the Atlanta market.
