Svante Acquires Carbon Alpha to Expand BECCS and CCS Development in Western Canada

Svante Technologies has acquired Calgary-based Carbon Alpha Corporation and its related subsidiaries, including its ownership interests in North Star Carbon Solutions entities. The acquisition brings Carbon Alpha’s flagship North Star Bioenergy Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) project—developed with the Meadow Lake Tribal Council (MLTC)—into Svante’s business unit portfolio.
