Accudynamics, LLC — part of the Makers Forward family of companies — has acquired TAM Metal Products (aka TAM Precision, LLC), a Mahwah, New Jersey-based manufacturer of sheet metal enclosures, precision components and assemblies. The acquisition is an add-on to the Accudynamics Group intended to expand manufacturing capabilities, capacity and service offerings for aerospace, defense, medical and other commercial customers.

AOTCO Acquires Modern Metal Finishing

AOTCO Metal Finishing, a Billerica, Massachusetts-based specialty finishing provider, has acquired Modern Metal Finishing (MMF) of Oxford, Connecticut. The purchase expands AOTCO’s anodizing capabilities and establishes a Tri-State distribution hub to provide local pickup and delivery for customers across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut while retaining MMF’s management and employees.

Valence Surface Technologies Acquires C.I.L. Metal Finishing and C.I.L. Electroplating

Valence Surface Technologies, a PE-backed aerospace surface finishing platform, has acquired C.I.L. Metal Finishing and C.I.L. Electroplating (CIL), a Lawrence, Massachusetts-based metal finishing provider serving aerospace and defense OEMs. CIL, which employs approximately 160 people across two facilities, expands Valence's Northeast capabilities and represents the platform's eleventh add-on; the deal closed alongside a refinancing and CIL's management will remain in place.

Titomic Acquires Tri-D Dynamics

Titomic Limited's wholly owned subsidiary Titomic USA, Inc completed the acquisition of the business of Tri-D Dynamics Inc on 9 July 2021. The deal brings Tri-D's Silicon Valley design and smart-pipe manufacturing capabilities into Titomic to accelerate commercialisation of digitally embedded metal infrastructure and support Titomic's defence, aerospace and oil & gas initiatives in North America.
