The transaction closed in two phases (Washington and Idaho assets closed Aug. 1, 2024; Oregon assets closed later), transferring an organization of over 650 staff and approximately $78 million in annual revenue into Pennant's network.

(through its hospice/home-health subsidiary Cornerstone Healthcare, Inc.) acquired the assets of Ardent Hospice and Palliative Care, expanding its hospice and home health footprint in California across the Central Valley, Palm Springs and San Diego. The acquired agencies had a collective hospice average daily census of approximately 90 patients prior to the transaction and will be integrated into Pennant’s existing home health and hospice operations.
