The START Center for Cancer Research has acquired Carolina Urologic Research Center (CURC), expanding START's global network and establishing a dedicated Genitourinary (GU) Oncology Center of Excellence. The transaction closed in April 2025; Valcadia Healthcare Partners advised CURC while ReedSmith LLP advised START and Bass, Berry & Sims PLC advised CURC.
