Velonex Technologies Acquires Morse Technologies

Velonex Technologies, a San Antonio-based IT services and cybersecurity provider, has acquired Morse Technologies, an IT service and consulting firm headquartered in Salem, New Hampshire. The acquisition expands Velonex’s footprint and service capabilities in the New England region; Morse’s founder and leadership team will remain with the business following the transaction.

Pelco Products Acquires TraffiCalm and MOR Manufacturing

Pelco Products, an Edmond, Oklahoma portfolio company of River Associates, has acquired TraffiCalm Systems, LLC and MOR Manufacturing LLC to form a national traffic safety and traffic hardware leader. Both acquired businesses will operate autonomously from their Post Falls, Idaho location, with John Ragan remaining president of TraffiCalm and Pelco continuing to integrate complementary product lines.

Trafera Acquires AXI Education Solutions

Trafera, a K-12 education-technology provider and portfolio company of Rotunda Capital Partners, has acquired AXI Education Solutions, a Madisonville, Louisiana-based provider of interactive flat panels, professional development and installation services for U.S. K-12 school districts in the mid-south. Rotunda and other investors provided additional capital for the transaction; Liberty Ridge Advisors acted as AXI's exclusive financial advisor.

Securitas AB Acquires FE Moran Security Solutions

Securitas AB has acquired FE Moran Security Solutions for approximately USD 82 million, strengthening Securitas' electronic security capabilities and density in the U.S. Midwest. FE Moran provides electronic security systems integration, installation, maintenance and UL-listed alarm monitoring with a sizeable recurring monthly revenue base; the deal is expected to be accretive and consolidated into Securitas from December 16, 2020.

GlobalTranz Acquires Cerasis

GlobalTranz Enterprises, a Phoenix-based technology-driven 3PL, has acquired Cerasis, an Eagan, Minnesota-based provider of third-party multimodal and managed transportation services. The acquisition (closed January 15, 2020) expands GlobalTranz's managed transportation, final-mile and reverse logistics capabilities and strengthens its presence in the Minneapolis area; purchase price was not disclosed.
