Amphenol Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Trexon, a designer and manufacturer of custom interconnect solutions, for approximately $1 billion in cash. The transaction was subject to customary closing conditions and was expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The sale, completed late in 2023, transfers Trexon’s industrial cable and harsh-environment interconnect businesses to Amphenol as Trexon focuses its operations on its Engineered Products Group (EPG).

The deal is an add‑on to Trexon’s Engineered Products Group intended to expand Trexon’s RF, ruggedized and space/aerospace capabilities and broaden its end‑market exposure in aerospace, space and telecommunications.
