Chicago-based metals and logistics operator Union Partners has acquired Maksteel, a Mississauga, Ontario steel service center and toll processor. The deal expands Union Partners' North American footprint and adds substantial processing, inventory and dedicated transportation capabilities to serve customers across industries including automotive, construction and oil & gas.
