Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida Acquires Villages Bancorporation, Inc.

Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida, the holding company for Seacoast National Bank, signed a definitive agreement to acquire Villages Bancorporation, Inc., the parent company of Citizens First Bank, based in The Villages, Florida. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025 after regulatory approvals and VBI shareholder approval; later, Seacoast reported that required U.S. federal and OCC regulatory approvals had been received and closing was expected around October 1, 2025, subject to customary conditions.

SUN Behavioral Health Acquires Seaside Healthcare's Community Agencies

United Bankshares Acquires Community Bankers Trust Corporation (Essex Bank)

The transaction expands ChoiceOne's footprint into Muskegon and Ottawa counties and is expected to close in 2020 pending shareholder and regulatory approvals.
