United Rentals, Inc. completed its acquisition of Yak Access, LLC, Yak Mat, LLC, and New South Access & Environmental Solutions, LLC from Platinum Equity for approximately $1.1 billion in cash. The deal adds a North American matting and temporary access solutions provider to United Rentals’ “one-stop-shop” Specialty offerings.
