Uptake Acquires Asset Performance Technologies (APT)

Uptake has acquired Albuquerque-based Asset Performance Technologies, Inc. (APT), maker of the Preventance APM and the Asset Strategy Library (ASL). The acquisition gives Uptake access to APT's library of failure-mode data for nearly 800 equipment types to enhance its industrial AI, build learning digital twins, and improve asset performance management for power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas, steel and other heavy industries.

Concurrently, BiomX raised $50 million in a private placement led by affiliates of Deerfield Management and the AMR Action Fund to advance two Phase 2 assets (BX004 and BX211) toward pivotal readouts in 2025–2026.
