UST agreed to acquire a majority stake in Italdesign from the Audi Group, with Automobili Lamborghini retaining a significant stake; the acquisition was completed on September 7, 2026. The partnership combines Italdesign’s automotive design, engineering and production expertise with UST’s capabilities in automotive engineering, AI and software-defined vehicles to expand integrated mobility services and reach global customers.
