Enlightenment Capital has combined four portfolio companies—Boecore, Ascension Engineering Group, Orbit Logic, and La Jolla Logic—into a new space-focused platform called Auria, based in Colorado Springs. Auria will deliver mission planning, space domain awareness, satellite communications management and cybersecurity capabilities and will employ more than 400 people across the combined businesses. The consolidation is intended to broaden the customer base, expand capabilities and create a mid-tier contractor in the space and defense market.

Baird & Co., has acquired an interest in eCube Solutions Limited, a UK-based provider of aircraft storage, disassembly and parts re-use and recycling services. The capital will fund R2i's growth plans — expanding geographically, deepening marketing-cloud capabilities across partners like Adobe, Sitecore and Acquia, and pursuing organic growth and acquisitions — and Baird will place operating partners and principals on the board.
