Cooper Equipment Rentals Acquires Action Equipment Rentals

Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Action Equipment Rentals Inc., a Red Deer, Alberta-based construction equipment rental company founded in 1991. Action will join Cooper as the Red Deer branch and remain led by General Manager Gabriel Castella-Chin, strengthening Cooper's coverage in the Alberta and Western Canada markets.

H&E Equipment Services Acquires Precision Rentals

H&E Equipment Services signed a definitive agreement and subsequently completed the acquisition of Phoenix-based Precision Rentals, adding two branch locations (Phoenix and Aurora, Colorado) and a rental fleet with approximately $70 million of original equipment cost. The deal increases H&E's branch density in the Phoenix and Denver metropolitan areas and expands its footprint in attractive non-residential construction markets.
