Pet Supplies Plus Acquires Wag N' Wash Natural Pet Food & Grooming

Pet Supplies Plus, a subsidiary of Franchise Group, announced the acquisition of Wag N' Wash, a natural pet food, self-wash, and grooming franchise with more than 15 locations. Wag N' Wash founders will remain for a minimum of two years and the brands will continue to operate separately while Wag N' Wash gains access to Pet Supplies Plus's supply chain, fulfillment and expansion resources.

Sentinel Capital Partners Acquires Market Performance Group

Sentinel Capital Partners has acquired Market Performance Group (MPG), a leading omnichannel commerce agency serving consumer packaged goods companies, from Insignia Capital Group. Terms were not disclosed; Insignia has made a new minority investment alongside Sentinel. MPG, headquartered in Holmdel, New Jersey, has grown to roughly 440–450 employees and provides omnichannel strategy, analytics, and outsourced commerce services to large and midsized CPG clients.

Fusion92 Acquires DP+

Fusion92, a Chicago-based marketing innovation firm backed by Serata Capital Partners and Landon Capital Partners, has acquired DP+, Michigan's largest independently owned marketing agency, to expand capabilities in data, analytics, creative and media activation. DP+ founder Mark Petrosky will remain with the firm; terms were not disclosed and the combined organization brings the headcount to roughly 225–250+ employees.

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies Acquires PetFlow (Omnipet, LLC)

Phillips Feed Service, Inc. (dba Phillips Pet Food & Supplies) has acquired Omnipet, LLC (dba PetFlow), an online retailer of pet food and supplies. Cascadia Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to PetFlow. The acquisition gives Phillips e-commerce capabilities to support its independent specialty retail customers and reflects ongoing consolidation in the pet retail sector.

Graycliff Partners Acquires Sweeteners Plus, Inc.

Graycliff Partners LP has completed the acquisition of Sweeteners Plus, Inc., a Lakeville, New York-based manufacturer and distributor of liquid and dry sweeteners serving quick service restaurants, specialty beverage, bakery/confectionery and pharmaceutical customers. Sweeteners Plus operates rail-served facilities and a company-owned trucking fleet, providing bulk processing and rapid delivery; Graycliff, a lower-middle-market private equity firm, will support the company's growth and distribution capabilities.

Canopy Capital Partners Acquires Pet Palette Distribution to Launch Pet-Products Platform

Canopy Capital Partners, a Tampa-based private equity firm, has acquired Pet Palette Distribution, a Sykesville, Maryland-based national wholesale distributor of pet products, marking the launch of Canopy's pet-product distribution platform. Canopy named Chris Miller as CEO, said it will pursue growth and complementary product verticals (including pet grooming) and is positioned to pursue bolt-on acquisitions for the new platform.
