Palm Beach Capital Fund III made an investment in Allen Brothers Wholesale Distributors and created National Convenience Distributors (NCD), combining Allen Brothers with J. Polep Distribution Services and Harold Levinson Associates as operating divisions. The new NCD organization reports combined annual revenues of $3 billion and becomes one of the largest full-line convenience store distributors in the U.S., expanding geographic reach and centralizing operations.

Utz Brands Acquires Clem Snacks and J&D Snacks

Utz Brands, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement for its subsidiaries to acquire the assets of two New York direct store delivery (DSD) distributors: Clem Snacks, Inc. (a Clem Companies subsidiary) and J&D Snacks, Inc. The purchases add approximately 125 DSD routes across New York City and Long Island, intended to accelerate Utz's share gains and expand its distribution and retailer support in the region; the transactions are expected to close in Q1 2022 with financial terms undisclosed.

(Overland Park, Kansas) has acquired certain assets of Continental Casket Company, a Watseka, Illinois–based regional distributor of metal and wood caskets that operates three warehouses serving Illinois and parts of Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky and Missouri. The asset purchase expands Wilbert's Casket Division and adds regional warehousing and distribution capabilities to support funeral professionals across the Midwest.
