Dropbox, Inc. acquired FormSwift, a cloud-based forms and document template provider, for $95 million in cash. The deal (closed December 15, 2022) expands Dropbox's document workflows and agreement-capabilities by integrating FormSwift's template library and self-serve form tools for small businesses and freelancers.

airSlate Acquires DocHub

airSlate has acquired DocHub, an online PDF editor and eSignature platform, to expand its document workflow and automation offerings and deepen integrations in the Google Workspace Marketplace. The acquisition will accelerate DocHub's product development and integrate its PDF and eSignature capabilities into airSlate's portfolio alongside pdfFiller and signNow.

Thomson Reuters Acquires SafeSend (cPaperless) for $600 Million

Thomson Reuters has acquired cPaperless, LLC (doing business as SafeSend) for $600 million in cash. SafeSend, a Michigan-based cloud-native tax automation provider with ~235 employees and expected 2025 revenue of about $60 million, will be integrated into Thomson Reuters' tax product portfolio while continuing to interoperate with other vendors.

Onit Acquires SecureDocs

Onit, a provider of enterprise workflow and legal management software, acquired SecureDocs, a SaaS provider of contract management, virtual data rooms and e-signature solutions. The acquisition expands Onit's CLM portfolio to include a rapidly deployable contract management solution targeted at midsize and smaller legal operations teams and will be integrated with Onit's SimpleLegal business.

NinjaOne Acquires Dropsuite for Approximately $270M

NinjaOne has completed the acquisition of cloud backup and email-archiving provider Dropsuite for about $270 million. The deal adds Dropsuite's SaaS backup and real-time email archiving capabilities to NinjaOne's endpoint management platform, enabling a unified backup suite across endpoints, servers and SaaS applications to improve resilience against ransomware and simplify IT operations.

nCino Acquires DocFox

nCino has signed a definitive agreement to acquire DocFox, a provider of automated onboarding and account-opening software for commercial and business banking. The acquisition will integrate DocFox's onboarding capabilities into nCino's cloud banking SaaS platform to provide a unified, end-to-end client lifecycle and accelerate account opening; the deal was expected to close in March 2024.
