Thomson Reuters Acquires SafeSend (cPaperless) for $600 Million

Thomson Reuters has acquired cPaperless, LLC (doing business as SafeSend) for $600 million in cash. SafeSend, a Michigan-based cloud-native tax automation provider with ~235 employees and expected 2025 revenue of about $60 million, will be integrated into Thomson Reuters' tax product portfolio while continuing to interoperate with other vendors.
