Alation Acquires Lyngo Analytics

Alation Inc., the Redwood City–based data intelligence company, has acquired Los Altos–based Lyngo Analytics to integrate Lyngo’s natural-language AI capabilities into Alation’s data catalog. Lyngo’s co-founders Jennifer Wu and Joachim Rahmfeld will join Alation in senior product and AI/ML roles to help broaden the platform’s support for non-technical business users and convert natural-language questions into SQL.
