Addus HomeCare Corporation (Nasdaq: ADUS) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the entities comprising Tennessee Quality Care from American Health Partners. The acquisition adds approximately $40 million of annualized revenues, 17 locations serving an average daily census of ~1,800 patients across more than 50 Tennessee counties, and expands Addus' clinical presence in the state (home health, hospice and private duty nursing).

Addus HomeCare Acquires JourneyCare Hospice Operations

JourneyCare, based in Glenview, Illinois, operates hospice and palliative services serving an average daily adult census of about 750, generates roughly $55 million in annual revenue, and brings over 500 employees to Addus as part of the deal.

Gentiva Acquires ProMedica's Home Health, Palliative and Hospice Business

CD&R Acquires Majority Stake in Humana's Kindred at Home Hospice and Personal Care Divisions (Gentiva)

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) agreed to acquire a 60% interest in the Hospice and Personal Care divisions of Humana’s Kindred at Home, receiving approximately $2.8 billion in cash and valuing the divisions at about $3.4 billion. The carved‑out businesses were restructured into a standalone company rebranded as Gentiva, with Humana retaining a 40% minority stake and David Causby continuing as CEO; the deal closed in 2022 and remains subject to customary approvals noted at signing.

Addus HomeCare Acquires Armada Skilled Home Health and Hospice (New Mexico)

The acquisition expands Addus' home health and hospice footprint in New Mexico (Armada is based in Albuquerque and has annualized revenues of about $23.0 million) and is expected to be immediately accretive to Addus' results.
