Operio Group Acquires Compression Components and Services (CCS)

Operio Group, an emerging holding company focused on solid dose manufacturing solutions, has acquired Compression Components and Services, LLC (CCS), the owner of the Stokes tablet press and Index capsule filler brands. The deal expands Operio’s equipment and services capability and positions CCS to enter the U.K., Europe and Asia through Operio’s global network.

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Acquires Damen Carbide Tool Co. Operations

Hyperion Materials & Technologies has entered a definitive agreement to acquire the operations of Damen Carbide Tool Co., Inc., a Wood Dale, Illinois-based specialist in carbide and ceramic grinding and EDM finishing. The asset purchase will fold Damen Carbide into Hyperion's Precision Solutions business unit to expand its carbide component manufacturing and finishing capabilities; key Damen leaders will remain in place and the transaction is expected to close in early Q3 2024.

Novaria Group Acquires Anillo Industries

Novaria Group, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of precision components for aerospace and defense, has acquired Anillo Industries, a long-established Orange, California manufacturer of washers, shims, spacers, plain bearings and stampings. Terms were not disclosed; Anillo's Orange operations will continue at its 75,000-square-foot facility with brothers Kurt and Mark Koch remaining in their roles for a transition period. D.A. Davidson & Co. advised Anillo on the transaction.

Precision Aerospace Holdings Acquires Owens Machine and Tool Company

Dallas-based Precision Aerospace Holdings LLC, a PE-backed aerospace manufacturing platform formed by CIC Partners and Juniper Capital Management, has acquired Owens Machine and Tool Company, a Lewisville, Texas CNC machine shop specializing in titanium and nickel alloy components for the aerospace and defense markets. The deal strengthens Precision's North Texas platform and expands its precision machining and tooling capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

Novaria Group Acquires Hohman Plating

Novaria Group, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of specialty hardware and coatings for the aerospace and defense market, has acquired substantially all assets of Hohman Plating, a Dayton, Ohio metal finishing and coating business. Hohman will continue operating from Dayton and owner Bill Miller will join Novaria's board; terms were not disclosed. The purchase expands Novaria's finishing and proprietary coating capabilities across aerospace, defense and other end markets.

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Acquires Prism Technologies, Inc.

Hyperion Materials & Technologies announced an agreement to acquire Prism Technologies, Inc., an Elizabeth, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of compaction tooling, specialty components and wear parts. Prism will be integrated into Hyperion’s Precision Solutions business unit to add compaction tooling capabilities and capacity; the transaction is expected to close subject to customary conditions.
