AMS Renewable Energy, a New York–based distributed solar and storage EPC, has acquired Collective Solar, a distributed generation solar construction firm headquartered in Oswego, New York. The deal brings Collective Solar’s ~160 MW of construction experience and an in‑house civil and electrical construction platform to AMS, accelerating AMS’s ability to scale EPC services across the Northeast and Mid‑Atlantic.

Aspen Power Acquires 14.1 MWdc Illinois Community Solar Portfolio from Arrow Solar Development

Aspen Power has closed a Membership Interest Purchase and Development Services Agreement (MIPDSA) to acquire a 14.1 MWdc portfolio of early‑stage community solar sites in Illinois from Arrow Solar Development LLC. Aspen Power will develop, construct, own and operate the projects—bringing its Illinois portfolio to over 34 MW—and use its financing and development capabilities to advance the sites to long‑term operation.

BlackRock’s Evergreen Fund Acquires 38-Project Solar & Storage Portfolio from Excelsior Energy Capital

Madison Energy Infrastructure Acquires NextEra Energy Resources' Distributed Generation Platform

The AES Corporation Acquires Community Energy Solar, LLC

ALLETE Acquires New Energy Equity

ALLETE, Inc. (NYSE:ALE) has closed its acquisition of New Energy Equity, a distributed and community solar developer based in Annapolis, Maryland, for approximately $165.5 million. New Energy Equity has completed more than 250 distributed solar projects totaling over 330 MW and brings a ~2 GW development pipeline across 26 states; the company's management team and headquarters will remain in place.
