AdaptHealth Corp. Acquires AeroCare Holdings, Inc.

AdaptHealth Corp. agreed to acquire Orlando-based AeroCare Holdings for approximately $2.0 billion in a transaction consisting of about $1.1 billion in cash and 31 million shares of AdaptHealth stock. The deal, announced December 1, 2020 and closed February 2, 2021, expands AdaptHealth’s home medical equipment scale and geographic footprint—creating a combined company serving nearly 3 million patients from over 500 locations across 46 states.
