Veracyte announced its acquisition of Convergent Genomics to add the UroAmp urinary tumor DNA (utDNA) platform to its cancer diagnostics portfolio. The technology is intended to help guide non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer care by enabling urine-based therapy-response monitoring and post-treatment surveillance.
