Vantage Group Acquires Admitted Carrier Vantage Risk Assurance Company

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. has closed the purchase of an admitted-lines carrier, Vantage Risk Assurance Company (formerly Heritage Casualty Insurance Company), from Union Fidelity Life Insurance Company. Concurrently, funds managed by Carlyle and Hellman & Friedman committed up to an additional $200 million to support Vantage’s continued growth and to expand capabilities in its U.S. insurance platform.

At-Bay Acquires Relay Platform

At-Bay, a digital-age insurance provider, has acquired Relay, a Toronto-based insurtech that operates a multicarrier digital distribution marketplace for specialty commercial lines (notably cyber). Relay will continue to operate as an independent entity under its existing management while joining At-Bay to expand the acquirer’s digital distribution capabilities for brokers and partners.

Carrier Global Acquires BrokerBay Inc.

Carrier Global Corporation has agreed to acquire BrokerBay Inc., a Toronto-based developer of a cloud-based real estate showing and scheduling platform. The acquisition (expected to close in October) will integrate BrokerBay's digital showing management capabilities with Carrier Fire & Security's Supra lockbox and mobile credentialing business to strengthen access solutions and drive recurring services revenue; terms were not disclosed.

Ageas to Acquire esure for £1.295 Billion from Bain Capital

Bain Capital has reached an agreement with Ageas for Ageas to buy esure, a leading UK digital personal lines insurer, in a cash transaction valued at £1.295 billion (€1.510 billion). The deal combines Ageas UK and esure to create a top-3 UK personal lines platform and is expected to complete in 2H 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.

Acrisure Acquires B2Z Insurance
