(NASDAQ: DSP) has acquired IRIS.TV, a content data platform for Connected TV (CTV) that indexes millions of streaming video files and integrates with hundreds of publishers and platforms. IRIS.TV will continue to operate independently under its co-founders, and the deal is intended to expand Viant's CTV content identification and contextual targeting capabilities across premium publishers and ad platforms.

Minute Media Acquires STN Video

Minute Media has acquired STN Video (formerly SendtoNews), a Victoria, BC–based online video platform and North American sports content distributor that holds highlight rights with major U.S. sports leagues. The deal brings STN's award-winning OVP, a library of more than 2 million videos, and distribution capabilities into Minute Media's Voltax Video ecosystem; financing support for the transaction came from HSBC Innovation Banking and funds/accounts managed by BlackRock. Frontier (a prior investor in STN) will remain a supportive shareholder of Minute Media.

Novacap Acquires Cadent, LLC

Verizon to Acquire Frontier Communications in $20 Billion All-Cash Deal

Verizon Communications has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Frontier Communications Parent, Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $20 billion ($38.50 per share). The deal is intended to expand Verizon’s fiber footprint and integrate Frontier’s fiber network into Verizon’s Fios platform, with an expected closing in about 18 months subject to approvals.
