Evantic, a portfolio company of Edgewater Capital Partners, has acquired Vertec Polymers, a Houston-based designer and manufacturer of high-performance polymer materials including PEEK, PPS, PTFE and PFA. The acquisition expands Evantic's engineered components platform by adding polymer R&D, injection and hot-compression molding, and precision machining capabilities to better serve customers in the energy, life sciences, food & beverage and industrial markets.

Ascend Performance Materials Acquires Majority Stake in Circular Polymers

The investment (Circular Polymers renamed Circular Polymers by Ascend) secures a consistent supply of high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials for Ascend's ReDefyne sustainable polyamides while founder David Bender retains remaining equity and stays on as CEO.
