Danone Acquires MADE Group and Remaining 49% Stake in Australian Fresh Dairy JV

Exponent-backed Vibrant Foods has acquired Fudco, the UK premium nuts, spices and dried fruits business founded in 1979. The family-run company — led by brothers Sheilesh and Akhil Shah and operating a HQ and factory in Willesden with around 68 employees — will join Vibrant's South Asian foods portfolio (TRS, East End, Cofresh, Everest) as an add-on to expand retail distribution and product range.

Vibrant Foods, the UK ethnic foods platform backed by Exponent Private Equity, has acquired Cofresh Snack Foods (CSF), the owner of the Cofresh and Eat Real brands, for an undisclosed sum. The Patel family, selling shareholders, will reinvest as minority holders; the deal strengthens Vibrant Foods' portfolio across South Asian staples and fast-growing plant-based/free-from snacking to accelerate distribution and growth across the UK and Europe.

Exponent Private Equity Acquires TRS and East End Foods (Vibrant Foods Platform)

Exponent Private Equity has acquired UK ethnic-food producers and distributors TRS and East End Foods and will integrate them into a single group operating under the Vibrant Foods platform. The combined business — headquartered outside London and led by Rohit Samani (Chairman) and Umesh Parmar (CEO) — will have a combined turnover of approximately £300m and will continue to operate the TRS and East End brand names.

Latina Boulevard Foods (The Anderson Group portfolio) Acquires Assets of Diversified Dairy Products

Latina Boulevard Foods, a portfolio company of The Anderson Group, acquired certain assets of Western New York-based Diversified Dairy Products and will integrate the business into Latina’s Cheektowaga storage and distribution operations. The deal expands Latina’s product offering in ice-cream-related products and ingredients and grows its customer base in Western New York.
