VMware Acquires Apteligent

VMware has acquired Apteligent (formerly Crittercism), a San Francisco–based mobile app performance and analytics company, to enhance its mobile and digital workspace capabilities. Terms were not disclosed; Apteligent had raised about $50 million since 2011 and will bolster VMware’s ability to provide app analytics alongside its AirWatch mobile management offerings.
