Blue Star Innovation Partners has acquired a majority stake in TravelNet Solutions (TNS), a Minneapolis‑based provider of Track Hospitality Software and related vacation‑rental platforms. The investment will be used to accelerate product development, expand support and hiring, and pursue M&A to add complementary solutions; TNS's existing leadership remains in place and VTrips exited its stake.

VTrips Acquires Southern Vacation Rentals

VTrips, a fast-growing U.S. vacation rental management company, acquired Southern Vacation Rentals on April 1, 2022, adding 1,120 properties and 123 team members to its portfolio and bringing VTrips' total managed properties to more than 5,000. Southern Vacation Rentals' CEO Scott Seay will join VTrips as chief strategy officer as the companies integrate operations while retaining local brand presence.

VTrips Acquires Taylor-Made Deep Creek and Ryson Vacation Rentals

VTrips acquired two vacation rental management companies — Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales (McHenry, Maryland) and Ryson Vacation Rentals (Galveston, Texas) — adding a combined 701 properties and 263 team members to its portfolio. VTrips will retain the acquired brands, with Taylor-Made founders Jodi Taylor Refosco, Chad Taylor and Joe Refosco becoming shareholders and both teams reporting into VTrips regional management as part of the company’s strategic growth plan.

Hudson Hill Capital Makes Minority Investment in VTrips

The capital will be deployed to support M&A activity (VTrips expects to deploy over $250 million) and enhance the company's digital marketing and local market operations across North America.

Vacasa Acquires TurnKey Vacation Rentals

Vacasa announced it has signed an agreement to acquire TurnKey Vacation Rentals, a full-service vacation rental manager based in Austin, Texas that manages approximately 6,000 vacation rentals across 80+ U.S. destinations. The deal expands Vacasa’s portfolio into premier markets (including Los Angeles, Napa, Asheville and Santa Fe), brings TurnKey employees and technology into Vacasa, and is expected to close subject to customary conditions.

Natural Retreats Acquires 360 Blue

The transaction expands Natural Retreats' footprint in high-end vacation destinations and adds 360 Blue's local operational capabilities and homeowner relationships to Natural Retreats' portfolio.
