LFM Capital-backed Weller Metalworks Acquires DROP Sprockets

LFM Capital-backed Weller Metalworks has acquired DROP Sprockets, a Nelson, British Columbia-based manufacturer of made-to-order sprockets. AEA Private Debt acted as sole mezzanine lender and provided an equity co-investment to support the transaction. The deal is Weller's third add-on acquisition and expands the platform's manufacturing capabilities and product offering.

Live Ventures Acquires Precision Metal Works

Live Ventures Incorporated (Nasdaq: LIVE) acquired Precision Metal Works, Inc., a Louisville, Kentucky-based metal stamping and value-added manufacturer, for approximately $28 million, including up to $3 million in earn-out consideration. The acquisition adds roughly $75 million in annual revenue, brings approximately 250 employees into Live Ventures’ steel/manufacturing segment, and is expected to be immediately accretive while providing synergies and growth capital to pursue electric vehicle and other end-market opportunities.

LFM Capital Forms Weller Metalworks Platform and Acquires Muthig Industries

LFM Capital announced the formation of Weller Metalworks, a metal fabrication and precision machining platform, and completed the acquisition of Fond du Lac-based Muthig Industries. Terms were not disclosed; Muthig will serve as the inaugural add-on to the Weller platform as LFM looks to expand fabrication and machining capabilities for OEM customers.

Summit Steel Fabricating Group Acquires Laser Specialties, Inc.

The deal is an add-on to Summit's PE-backed manufacturing platform (backed by Lorraine Capital) and will expand Summit's capacity, capabilities and end-market exposure across OEM, military and energy customers; terms were not disclosed.

Precision Metal Holdings Acquires General Metals, LLC

Precision Metal Holdings, a Farragut Capital Partners portfolio platform, has acquired General Metals, LLC — a North Carolina-based precision metal fabricator — with Farragut providing subordinated debt and preferred equity and Everside Capital Partners joining as a co-investor. The deal is an add-on to the Precision Metals platform that expands the company’s geographic footprint in the Southeastern United States and enhances its capabilities in stamping, forming, welding, precision machining and electromechanical assembly.

LFM Capital Invests in J&E Precision Tool
