Vacation Innovations (VI), backed by investment partner Tritium Partners, has acquired Holiday Systems International (HSI), a travel-technology and membership platform with nearly 400,000 members. The deal adds 12 brands and HSI's suite of booking, loyalty and membership software to VI's portfolio as VI expands its timeshare and broader travel offerings and scales HSI's team and products.

Marriott Vacations Worldwide Acquires Welk Resorts for Approximately $430 Million

Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Welk Resorts, a family-owned timeshare and resort operator, for approximately $430 million, including stock. The deal expands MVW’s Hyatt Residence Club footprint by adding eight upper-upscale resorts (nearly 1,400 keys) and ~55,000 owners, and is expected to close in early Q2 2021 subject to customary approvals.

VTrips Acquires Southern Vacation Rentals

VTrips, a fast-growing U.S. vacation rental management company, acquired Southern Vacation Rentals on April 1, 2022, adding 1,120 properties and 123 team members to its portfolio and bringing VTrips' total managed properties to more than 5,000. Southern Vacation Rentals' CEO Scott Seay will join VTrips as chief strategy officer as the companies integrate operations while retaining local brand presence.

Casago Acquires Vacasa in $128.6 Million Deal

Travel + Leisure Co. Acquires Accor Vacation Club for $48.4 Million

The agreement covers 24 resorts and nearly 30,000 members, with Travel + Leisure Co. expected to close in the first quarter of 2024 and immediately benefit earnings upon completion.

VIP Aviation Holdings Acquires VIP Hospitality, LLC

VIP Aviation Holdings, led by aviation and hospitality veterans Robert Greene, Sachi Greene, and Jeff Osatinski, has acquired Seattle-based VIP Hospitality, LLC. The transaction closed on May 2, 2025; Generational Group advised VIP Hospitality on the sale. VIP Hospitality is an airport hospitality and passenger experience services provider and will be integrated under the new ownership to expand operational capabilities and service offerings.
