Allegiant Air Acquires Sun Country Airlines in ~$1.5B Deal

Allegiant Travel Company completed its acquisition of Sun Country Airlines in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at about $1.5 billion, including debt. The combined leisure-focused airline will operate a network of nearly 175 cities and more than 650 routes with a fleet of about 195 aircraft, while the two brands and booking systems will remain separate in the near term.

Pegasus Airlines to Acquire Czech Airlines and Smartwings for €154 Million

FlyHouse to Acquire Sun Air Jets

The offer includes an accelerated $2.50 per-share prepayment upon Spirit shareholder approval and a $0.10 per-month “ticking fee” beginning January 2023, along with an increased $400 million reverse break-up fee.
