Feat co-founder and CEO Taylor Offer will step down from day-to-day duties and join the company's board while the brand's seven-person team, product assortment and distribution channels remain in place.

Brand Velocity Partners Acquires BBQGuys and Blaze Outdoor Products

Brand Velocity Partners (BVP) acquired BBQGuys, the leading e-commerce retailer of premium grills and outdoor-living products, and affiliated manufacturer Blaze Outdoor Products. The transaction includes a group of strategic and institutional investors (including the Manning family and athlete investors) and WhiteHorse Capital provided term-loan financing and invested in the equity; BVP intends to apply its in-house marketing and brand resources to accelerate growth.

SPX Technologies Acquires Thermolec

SPX Technologies has completed the acquisition of Montréal-based Thermolec Ltd. for CA$195 million (approximately US$140 million). Thermolec, a manufacturer of custom electric duct heating and related HVAC solutions with nearly 200 employees and about US$35 million in annual revenue, will join SPX's HVAC Electric Heat business to expand product capabilities and grow sales in the U.S. and Canada.

Empowered Ventures Acquires Benoure Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

The transaction transitions Benoure into Empowered Ventures' ESOP as part of the owner's succession plan and is intended to support continued growth and ongoing employee ownership.
