HGGC Acquires etouches

Palo Alto-based private equity firm HGGC acquired Norwalk, Connecticut–headquartered etouches, a provider of cloud event management software and venue sourcing, in a transaction that closed May 9, 2017. Prior owners and senior management retained and reinvested for a meaningful minority stake; terms were not disclosed. HGGC said it will provide capital to expand services and enhance etouches' technology to capture more of the global event management market.

BioVaxys Acquires TAETSoftware Corp. (TAETCo)

BioVaxys Technology Corp. acquired TAETSoftware Corp. ("TAETCo"), a Vancouver-based developer of the Trial Adverse Events Tracker (TAET) clinical-study adverse event reporting platform, by issuing shares to TAETCo shareholders. The acquisition adds a fee-based clinical-trial reporting product to BioVaxys’ portfolio and positions the company to explore healthcare analytics and AI-driven insights from ADE data.

Cvent Acquires Goldcast
