Crown Crafts Acquires Baby Boom Consumer Products

Crown Crafts, Inc. acquired substantially all of the assets of Baby Boom Consumer Products, Inc., expanding Crown Crafts' presence in the toddler bedding category and adding diaper bags and licensed-product offerings. The transaction was financed via an $8 million term loan and additional borrowings under Crown Crafts' revolving credit facility; Crown Crafts paid $18 million subject to customary working capital adjustments.

Mama's Creations Acquires Crown I Enterprises from Sysco

Mama's Creations, Inc. (Nasdaq: MAMA) acquired substantially all assets of Crown I Enterprises Inc., a Sysco subsidiary and fresh protein/ready-to-eat meal manufacturer, for $17.5 million in cash. The acquisition adds approximately $56 million of annual revenue, a 42,000-square-foot USDA-certified Bay Shore, New York production facility and roughly 200 employees, and is intended to expand Mama's production capacity, premium retail relationships and cross-selling opportunities.
