Grant & Stone (Cairngorm Capital) Acquires CRS Building Supplies

Cairngorm Capital-backed Grant & Stone has acquired CRS Building Supplies Limited, merging the Somerset-based builders merchant into the Grant & Stone group as part of its buy-and-build strategy. The deal adds CRS’s 12 branches and local brand to Grant & Stone’s footprint, creating an enlarged group with 44 branches, over 500 employees and revenues in excess of £140m; the transaction was driven by the CRS owners' succession planning.

(CSI), a Morganville, New Jersey-based architectural specification writing and consulting firm. The add-on deal — financed by Monroe Capital with counsel from Wiggin and Dana LLP — expands Milrose's technical capabilities and geographic reach across public and private construction end markets.
