SemiTorr Group, a Transom Capital Group–backed distributor of sanitary and industrial instrumentation, has acquired California-based distributor and manufacturers' representative firm M-I-C Inc. The add-on expands SemiTorr's presence in Northern California and diversifies its product and customer base across biotech, pharmaceutical and industrial end markets; terms were not disclosed.

Clearlake-Backed FloWorks Acquires SemiTorr Group

FloWorks, a specialty flow control distribution platform backed by Clearlake Capital Group, has acquired SemiTorr Group, a Tualatin, Oregon-based distributor of high-purity, sanitary and general industrial fluid handling systems and components. The add-on expands FloWorks' branch network and product suite across semiconductor, life sciences, food & beverage and other industrial end markets; financial terms were not disclosed.
